We support the Foreign Secretary’s commitment to a two-state solution and hope that the international community act now to prevent the ongoing annexation of the West Bank and to keep a two-state solution as a viable future option.
The E1 settlement project has been delayed for years as it has been a red line for the international community, and that line is now being crossed.
The trajectory on the ground is increasingly towards a one state reality. A reality which is already proving as devastating to Palestinians and detrimental to Israeli security. As such, it’s right and necessary that the UK government, alongside international allies, change their approach accordingly and move from words to actions.
