Join us to stand in solidarity with and hear from two Israelis whose family members were kidnapped on October 7th. We’ll hear about families’ experiences since Hamas’ attack on 7/10 and about the hostage families’ fight to bring their loved ones home.
As it stands, 50 hostages are still being held in Gaza.
Both our speakers families come from kibbutz Nir Oz, where 1 in 4 residents were killed or kidnapped. Like most Israelis – they want the war to end and for every hostage to be returned immediately.
Speakers:
Sharone Lifschitz, a London based film-maker and academic, originally from kibbutz Nir Oz, whose parents were taken hostage on 7 October. Her mother was returned after 17 days and her father was murdered in captivity and his body was returned after 503 days.
