Thursday 17 September, 8:00-9:00pm (UK)
Yachad, NIF UK and We Democracy are delighted to host Dr. Shai Agmon for a timely discussion about the upcoming elections in Israel, the political scenarios facing the country, and why this moment could prove crucial for its future.
Dr. Agmon will examine Israel’s evolving political landscape, exploring the key issues shaping voters’ choices, the parties and personalities competing for power, the prospects for representation in the Knesset, and the coalition-building dynamics that could determine the next government. He will consider what different electoral outcomes could mean for Israeli democracy, regional diplomacy, prospects for peace, and the direction the country takes in the years ahead.
Drawing on both academic expertise and practical political experience, Dr. Agmon will provide an insightful analysis of one of the most consequential political moments in Israel’s recent history.
The conversation will be led by Alona Ferber, Journalist and Senior Editor at Prospect Magazine.
