Peace talks are to resume 24/07/13

Dear Yachad supporter,
At the end of last week, US Secretary of State, John Kerry, announced a return to direct talks between the Israelis and Palestinians. They are due to resume in Washington as early as the end of this week. It will be the first time since 2010 that the two parties have negotiated directly. This news marks a significant breakthrough in the stalemate that has plagued the two peoples for the past 3 years.
Achieving an agreement is the only way to secure Israel’s future as …

A step forward for the peace process 03/05/13

Dear Yachad supporter,
A step forward for the peace process
The Arab Peace Initiative, first presented by the Arab League in 2002, offers a framework for a regional, comprehensive approach to peace that would end all conflicts and claims between Arab nations and Israel. This Monday, in a meeting with US Secretary of State John Kerry, the Qatari Prime Minister, speaking on behalf of an Arab League delegation, addressed what had been one of the major sticking points for Israel: the issue of …
