Jubilee Haggadah

SISO, the Israel-Diaspora partnership to Save Israel and Stop the Occupation, have prepared the Jubilee Haggadah to mark 50 years of Israeli occupation of the West Bank.

Thirty authors, artists and thinkers from throughout the Jewish world have joined together — in commentary, song, and moral outcry — and proposed contemporary interpretations to the Haggadah. Contributors range from Amos Oz to Sarah Silverman, Achinoam Nini to Leon Wieseltier, Anat Hoffman to Carol Gilligan.

The Haggadah is edited by Dr. Tomer Persico. The texts are rich, nuanced and diverse, and together with the original artwork and design (by leading Israeli graphic designer Michal Sahar) make this a beautiful work that invites reflection and conversation.

The Haggadah can be downloaded for free here or purchased in printed form here.

SISO are collecting video messages and testimonials from people who are planning to incorporate the Jubilee Haggadah into their Seder. You can send a video message before Pesach to info@siso.org.il, and it will appear on a global map of Jubilee Seders on the SISO website.

A supplement to the Haggadah with readings that you can integrate into your normal Pesach seder can be viewed below or downloaded here.
