Yachad Youth works with young people aged 16-25 to create a strong, engaged next generation within the Jewish community. We work tirelessly across the country to build communities of passionate activists who go on to affect change through our sessions and campaigns.
If you want Yachad to come to your school, university, youth club or youth movement, please email Yachad Youth at firstname.lastname@example.org.
In October 2016, Yachad Youth launched their Partners To Peace campaign, raising over £3000 to support the Holy Land Trust, a Palestinian NGO based in Bethlehem, to train young people in non-violent activism and leadership. Click here to find out more about the campaign.
Previous campaigns: Kids Court in Conflict (February 2015)
Every September, the Yachad Student Trip to Israel and the West Bank spends time learning about how the conflict and occupation affects people in the region. We meet with people who are affected by the conflict and people who can make a difference.
We are on campus throughout the year, bringing Israelis and Palestinians to you so that we can learn about the most urgent issues. Previously, we have brought everyone from former Navy commander and Shin Bet director Ami Ayalon to representatives from Women Wage Peace.
We also work very closely with Youth Movements (members of the Zionist Youth Council UK) to run activities for their participants both in the UK and Israel.
We build networks
Yachad Youth works with 200 activists throughout the country, offering training and exclusive sessions with leading activists and thinkers. Our members are based all over the UK, and come together a few times a year, including the Yachad Student Conference.
From September 2017, we will be extending our network by working with both sixth formers and young professionals.
